Startup at Cumberland Avenue

Today was a big day at Bakkvör's KFF. The company’s new 8,000 m2 factory in Cumberland Avenue, London was started today, 17 October. This event is expected to increase the company’s production capacity by 40% and the total cost of the factory is estimated to be GBP 12.7 million.

The number of employees is expected to increase by 300 when the factory reaches full production capacity.

KFF has been an successful food producer for more than 15 years, specialising in ethnic foods and distributing to all major supermarket groups across the UK. Since late last year KFF has been a part of the Bakkavör Group, one of the largest companies in Iceland. The Bakkavör Group currently owns subsidiary’s in France, Germany, Poland, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Chile and Iceland, besides the U.K.
