A New Factory Formally Opens

Bakkavör Group has taken into use a new 8,000 square meters factory at 40 Cumberland Avenue in London.

The new factory will help maintain Bakkavör Group’s production capacity. Nearly 300 new employees have been appointed and trained. As a result of a predicted sales increase, Bakkavör Group estimates the new factory will be operating at full capacity at the end of next year.

A formal opening ceremony took place on November 7th, with his excellency, Mr. David Oddson, the prime minister of Iceland officiating. After the ceremony guests inspected the new factory and enjoyed refreshments.
